Samsung has began rolling out the Lollipop update in Spain, Russia, and Poland, and now a global rollout is underway. As of Jan.13, Galaxy S5 owners in the U.K. can update their devices to Lollipop.

New Android updates have been spread out by Google several days before the year comes to a close. Over the weekend, the mobile phone manufacturing arm of Google rolled out a minor update of the latest Android Lollipop operating system for Nexus 7 devices. It is called the Android 5.0.2 update, and it was directly released for the said device.

The Android Lollipop will hit the HTC One M7 phones next year but thanks to the custom ROM on LiquidSmooth, users can take the new software out for a test run. The ROM is still being developed though and is currently at its first stages so users might experience bugs and problems after installation.
