The film was released in the United States on January 17, 2014, and distributed by Open Road Films.The first teaser trailer for the film was released on September 27, 2013. International distribution will be handled by The Weinstein Company. The film had its premier at a Regal Cinemas theatre in Los Angeles on January 11, 2014.
