Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update for Samsung Galaxy S5 Available in South Korea

Samsung fans in its home country, South Korea, have finally got a taste of Google's latest operating system, Android 5.0 Lollipop. The firmware OTA update has been rolled out to the Samsung Galaxy S5 with build number G900KKTU1BNL2 in South Korea.

The Galaxy S5 users in South Korea receivedAndroid 5.0 Lollipop update just a few days after the software was pushed out to the G900F variant of Galaxy S5 in Poland. The latest development could be seen as a hint that the firmware would be officially rolled out to other Asian and European countries anytime.
Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA was rolled out to theGalaxy S5 with build number G900KKTU1BNL2 in South Korea on Friday but it is expected to be made available to all Galaxy S5 smartphones in the country by this week, according to Android Geeks. It added that the firmware update will be pushed out to three South Korean carriers - KT, SK Telecom and LG Uplus - via Samsung KIESPC software as well as OTA.
The report went on to say that features of Android5.0 Lollipop should be similar to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop seen on the G900F European variant ofGalaxy S5. The new software is also available for download for the G900K model on firmwaredownload page of SamMobile website
