Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 5.0 Lollipop update leaks
Here's a nice little Christmas present for Note 3 owners – the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 5.0 Lollipop update has leaked. The latest version of Android may be slowly making its way out to a number of smartphones and tablets, including the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S4, but this leaked firmware means that Note 3 owners can update their devices right now!
It might not be long until the update rolls out officially, but if you would rather not wait you can grab the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 5.0 Lollipop update right now. The update – which XDA Developers points out is for the Note 3 SM-N9005 (N9505XXUGBNL8) – weighs in at 1.1GB and includes the latest version of Samsung's Touchwiz interface. You can grab the update using the Mega Link in the XDA Developer Forum's guide to installing Android 5.0 Lollipop on the Note 3. You'll also need a copy of Odin 3.09 to complete the process.
Check out the forum thread for full details of updating – just be sure to make a backup before you start in case anything goes wrong
